Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage except the therapist delivers the strokes with deeper pressure getting to the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia. Deep tissue massages are beneficial to people with chronic muscle tension.

Myofascial Release Massage

Myofascial release is a manipulative technique where the therapist releases tension in the fascia (band or sheet of connective tissue beneath the skin that attaches, stabilizes, encloses and separates muscles and other internal organs) due to trauma, posture, or inflammation. This is a great alternative for individuals who do not like deep pressure, but need the benefits of deep tissue work.

Our signature massage integrates Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques to achieve optimal tension relief. Hand and foot paraffin treatments are added to this 75-minute massage to ensure relaxation.

Prenatal Massage

Massage during pregnancy is a great choice for prenatal care. It helps reduce stress and promote overall wellness. The massage can relieve many discomforts experienced during pregnancy such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema. Prenatal massages cannot be performed in the first trimester or if there are any complications in the second or third trimester.

Induction Massage

Induction massage is a relaxation massage combined with acupressure applied to specific points of the body related to the preparation of the body for labor. Induction massage should be avoided prior to 37 weeks to ensure the baby is fully developed. Induction massage prior to the due date requires doctor’s orders.

Oral Massage

This massage treatment consists of massage to the neck, shoulders, facial, and muscles of the mouth. The therapist focuses on your chewing muscles, eliminating any trigger points and pain referral areas by releasing tension in the fascia around the jaw, neck, head, face and intra-oral.

Cupping Massage

Massage cupping is a form of therapeutic bodywork that is used to facilitate deep tissue release. The massage is performed by applying reverse pressure to the body via glass and plastic suction cups that are generally placed along problem areas or massaged in the direction of natural lymphatic flow.
